What are we looking for?
Kajsa Runnbeck, Human Resources Director for Northern Europe. What kind of background and skills are we looking for in future employees?
“First and foremost, we are looking for people with the right attitude who can grow with us. They should be attracted to our products and, as our business is spread across many locations and countries, there are opportunities to work in different geographical locations. It is important to us that our employees enjoy working in a changing world, as we are constantly evolving in line with the situation.”
“We have an ongoing need to recruit graduate engineers and civil engineers in chemistry, mechanical engineering, construction and civil engineering. We also regularly recruit logisticians, economists and production workers such as concrete workers, operators, etcetera."
“It is also natural for us to work towards a long-term sustainable society, to which we contribute both with our products and our expertise. From another perspective, it is important for us to be a good citizen and contribute to the development of a sustainable society. We are working hard on these issues today.”
What do you offer as an employer?
“It is important for us to have a sustainable and safe working environment, which means we put a lot of effort into these issues. We also aim to have an inclusive working environment. The expertise of our employees is high, which makes us successful and in some cases a leader in our fields. It also means that we have high expectations and demands of our employees. We like to offer responsibility that feels challenging - this is the absolute best way to develop both professionally and as an individual. We expect all employees to contribute and take responsibility for the organisation and its development. To provide the best conditions for our people to develop, we invest in the development of our people's skills and in the development of our managers and leaders to help our people develop and thrive. Our aim is to have the best leaders in the industry and we place great emphasis on developing current and future leaders.”
What development opportunities are available?
“If you have your own drive, desire and ambition, you have good opportunities to influence your own development. For example, you can develop as a manager or specialist, or you can change direction and work in another of our businesses. It is very much up to you to shape your future: we offer training opportunities; it is up to you to take up the challenge and continue to develop.”
